Larry
is a Deacon of the First Baptist Church of Broken Arrow,
Oklahoma. Larry has thirty plus years of experience in
the banking, insurance, and financial industry. He has
served in several board positions, including Tulsa Life
Underwriters and Saddleback Homeowners Association. With
a heart for world missions, Larry has served short-term
in Indonesia, Brazil, Africa, China and Venezuela as well
as being actively involved in various ministries of his
local church. "God has left us here for a purpose.
May His purpose be fulfilled in each of our lives."

Carlos
grew up in Bogotá, Colombia attending the Catholic
Church and private Catholic schools. He moved to the U.S.
at the age of 18 as an exchange student. It was here that
he met his wife and eventually began attending the Baptist
church with her. It was during that period that he came
to know the Lord as personal savior. Married to Sharla
for 18 years, they have three children. Church activities
include deacon, finance committee chairman, Sunday school
teacher for youth and Church Council member. Carlos has
been involved in the church's partnership with Venezuela
for the past eight years, traveling there annually to
conduct door-to-door evangelism, vacation Bible school,
sports clinics and evening worship services. They own
an insurance agency and it allows Carlos to assist many
Hispanics in our area in obtaining homes and transportation
after immigrating to the U.S.

Ruthann
has been a public school teacher for 20 years. She now
coordinates a tutoring program for ethnic students where
English is a second language called Champion Builders.
She works part-time in her husband's agency, coordinating
direct marketing efforts. Ruthann went on her first mission
trip as a college student, spending two months in Malawi,
Africa. Since then, she has served on other short-term
trips in eight foreign countries. In addition, she coordinates
stateside housing for furloughing missionaries and serves
on various mission related committees through her local
church. "I love being a part of God's drawing of
every toungue, tribe, and nation to Himself."

Clair
was raised by Christian parents but their participation
in the church really only began during her teenage years.
She accepted Christ during those years and met Lin in
church. Clair is the CEO/CFO of Eye Care for Tulsa and
is responsible for the extensive preparation required
for the frequent medical missions that Clair and Lin are
involved in. Cooking and gardening are other things that
bring her enjoyment.

Lori
has been a board member since the inception of First Fruits
Ministries. She began her walk with Christ at age eleven
while at a church camp. She now works in the A/R office
with Eye Care for Tulsa and is a University of Tulsa graduate.
She has been involved in short-term missions since age
11 and has frequently participated in drama team outreach
in Hungary and Guadalajara, Mexico. Art and singing are
her favorite means of expression. Her room-mates are Nikita,
her three year old miniature pinscher and Anica her six
year old greyhound.

Sharla
grew up in a Christian home with parents who took her
to church faithfully. At the age of eight she invited
Jesus into her heart and was baptized in the Baptist Church.
She doesn't remember ever hearing about missionaries or
being involved in mission projects at the small church
she attended. In 1998 Sharla went to Venezuela on her
first mission trip and shortly after that she joined the
board of First Fruits Ministries. She has served the church
in the pre-school and childrens' departments. Married
for 18 years to Carlos she is the busy mother of Nicolas,
Lucas and Natalie. Sharla works part-time in the insurance
agency and volunteers as a substitute teacher in the schools
her children attend.

Brandon
is the twin to Lori and serves on the board "long
distance". Saved at ten years old in a church revival,
Brandon experienced a filling of the Holy Spirit at an
FCA summer camp in Colorado at age 15. He is now a youth
pastor in Durant, Oklahoma at First Baptist Church. He
attended Southwestern Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas to
obtain his Master of Religious Education degree. He is
married to Paula and they have two cats that run the house.

Lin
is married to Clair and has adult twins, Lori and Brandon
who both serve on the board of the Ministry. He is a practicing
ophthalmologist with Eye Care for Tulsa, a major contributor
to First Fruits Ministries. Medical Missions have been
a major emphasis for Lin and Clair since 1977. A great
debt is owed to Lin's parents who both faithfully served
Jesus Christ to the full extent of their ability. His
dad led him to the Lord and baptized him his first year
in school. For Lin a major milestone in his Christian
growth and empowerment was the experience of the baptism
of the Holy Spirit as discussed in second chapter of Acts.
An avid jogger, Lin has interest in cars and Formula 1
